Our second visit at The Bulls Head Hotel in Chislehurst – not as good as the first, but only marginally so. The food was good, especially the portion sizes! It was great to have 4 roast potatoes, but we felt there were some issues with dietary requirements and service. Overall a very good 4.5 / 5.

The Two Brewers, Shoreham
We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch at the Two Brewers in Shoreham, near Sevenoaks in Kent. The venue was fun inside, with lots of things on the walls, along with a small fish tank. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the gingernut cheesecake for dessert too. Overall a Top Rated Sunday lunch, recommended for couples and lunch with friends.

We had visited The Farmhouse in West Malling and received a great experience, so I had to take the opportunity to review their sister pub in Lamberhurst, The Vineyard. The location was superb, set in wonderful Kentish countryside. The garden was spacious, as was the venue inside. Our Sunday lunch was really nice, with a lot of meat, good flavouring with the roast potatoes and nice vegetables. Our desserts were enjoyable, the Coconut Crème Brulée was very well presented. Service here was excellent, and ensured we had a great experience. An excellent Sunday roast at The Vineyard in Lamberhurst, Kent.

Having been recommended to try the Sunday lunch at the newly opened The Chancery in Beckenham, Bromley, I decided to give it a visit. Booking was easy, as was parking on the road outside. You can tell they have spent some money doing the venue up. I ordered the roast beef, Claire had a supreme of chicken and JW had the kids roast chicken breast. The lunch was nice, the portion size was good – I’d have preferred slightly better roast potatoes but overall a good experience at The Chancery. Worth visiting if you live in the surrounding area.

We were looking for a Sunday lunch in Rochester, Kent and decided on The Atrium, situated on the quaint high street. We were met as soon as we entered and shown to our table immediately. The starters were ok, I enjoyed the pate but the mushroom spring roll was odd. The Sunday lunch was enjoyable, especially the gravy. The roast lamb and beef was cooked through which meant it wasn’t very tender. The desserts were nice, I liked the chocolate truffle torte.
Overall, The Atrium scored a respectable 3.5 out of 5 – one worth visiting if you are in the area.
