Having been recommended The Three Chimneys by a few people, I decided to book close to Claire’s birthday for Sunday lunch, and I am so glad that I did! The service was excellent, the very best we have had. The food was delicious and superb venue too. A great place for celebrations or romantic meals alike.

The Crooked Well had been on my radar for a while now, so was really looking forward to trying out their roast dinner when we had a spare Sunday. I was not disappointed – the sharing roast lamb was delicious, as were the roast potatoes. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A venue for a casual lunch or celebration with the family – Top Rated!

Overall, come here for a special dinner during the week, or even on a Saturday, but we felt the Sunday lunch wasn’t good value.
