Having been recommended The Three Chimneys by a few people, I decided to book close to Claire’s birthday for Sunday lunch, and I am so glad that I did! The service was excellent, the very best we have had. The food was delicious and superb venue too. A great place for celebrations or romantic meals alike.

Looking for a Sunday lunch in London, I found The Laughing Gravy, based in Southwark (near Waterloo). Reserving a table was easy, I booked for the next day at midday. We arrived late, our friends were relaxing in the bar area at the front of the restaurant. They served a fantastic Roast Beef, the very best I have ever had in my life! Moist, flavoursome and chunky! We were visiting my Dad for Father’s Day and decided to try the Sunday lunch at The Rose and Crown in Pluckley, Kent (near Ashford). I am very glad we did! The food was delicious, the beef cooked to my (requested) liking, super roast potatoes and gravy. The outdoor space meant our child could run outside and burn off some energy. Looking for a Sunday lunch in Surrey, I found Sands at Bleak House in Woking. The venue was bright and airy, with large windows and also a conservatory area. The service here was very good, making sure we had everything we needed. Both the Roast Pork and the Roast Beef were ordered and we were all pleased with our choices. The roast potatoes were especially large and had an interesting flavour. Lastly, the desserts were nicely presented and were enjoyable. Families are welcome.
