The Black Pig, Tunbridge Wells

We were looking for a Sunday lunch in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. A friend suggested The Black Pig. The pub looked interesting so we thought we’d give it a go. Service was very good here, always on hand in case we needed anything. The starter was good, and the roast beef was excellent, as were the roast potatoes and vegetables. The passionfruit cheesecake was notably well presentated, and tasty too!

Definitely recommend visiting for Sunday lunch at The Black Pig in Royal Tunbridge Wells!

Kits Coty, Aylesford

On a whim, I booked Sunday lunch at Kits Coty on Bluebell Hill, near Aylesford. And what a choice it was! The view from the restaurant was excellent. The food safety equally superb, with excellent roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding (best I have ever had). It’s family friendly too, with very clean high chairs and a children’s menu.

The Poacher and Partridge, Tudeley

We finally completed the set (of Elite Pubs Group venues). The Poacher and Partridge in Tudeley, near Tonbridge, was excellent. We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch, the service was very friendly and efficient, the food was delicious and JW was kept entertained with the kids pack. A Top Rated venue!

Chiswell Street Dining Rooms, Islington

Chiswell Street Dining Rooms in Islington, London is the sister pub to The Jugged Hare, almost right next door! (you can read the Sunday lunch review of The Jugged Hare here). We had a great time here, the Sunday lunch was superb. The meat was cooked properly, and a lot was provided. I loved the small dishes the various side dishes came in. The venue decor was nice and fresh and the service excellent!

Hixter, Bankside

We originally booked elsewhere for a lunch in London, but when this was cancelled, we were able to get a reservation at Hixter, Bankside, and I was so glad we did! The venue itself was smart but fun – the staff were professional whilst at the same time being very welcoming. Our toddler, JW, was well looked after – and I appreciated the his free lunch! The roast beef was superb, one of the best I have had. They also served cauliflower cheese so, all in all, a definite winner! Top Rated Sunday lunch at Hixter, Bankside.
