Weston Hall, Coventry

We found a 2 night hotel in Coventry online through KGB Deals. It seemed to be a great price for a very nice location. We looked around Coventry and the local area for any other options, but it seemed that Weston Hall was the best place for Sunday lunch, and both of us were so glad that we gave it a go!

The 3 course for £13.50 was great value, especially as the food was such good quality. And the service was excellent. So refreshing to find a venue providing such a good Sunday lunch at a reasonable price. This must be the Best Sunday lunch in Coventry!

The Bull’s Head Hotel, Chislehurst

Sunday lunch at The Bull’s Head in Chislehurst was excellent! The service was perfect, giving advice where needed (such as recommending a reasonably priced bottle of wine and even giving Claire a free dessert!).

The roast meat was good but the star of the show was the cauliflower cheese. We had to pay extra for it, but it was well and truly worth it.

By far one of the Best Sunday lunches in Chislehurst.

The Clarendon, Notting Hill

We needed to have a Sunday lunch in London and having an email from the manager at The Clarendon, Notting Hill, we decided to have a go.

The service here was excellent, being shown to our tables and helping as much as needed. The decor was great, with a very large clock almost taking up one wall. The Sunday lunch quality was top notch. It was a shame that we were served jus instead of gravy as Claire and I like lashings of it (which meant we needed another jug).

Overall, a highly recommended Sunday lunch in Notting Hill.

The Frog & Wicket, Eversley

We visited The Frog & Wickett in Eversley for Sunday lunch because we wanted to meet our friend Mik for his birthday. The Sunday roasts were around £10 each, and we could have as much potatoes, yorkshire puddings and gravy as we liked… this sounded like a great deal, and perfect for us!

The food portion was huge, I have no idea how someone could ask for more roast potatoes! The service was great, always cheerful and happy to help. There was a happy atmosphere, with general good natured local pub characters. If you are looking for a decent Sunday lunch then The Frog & Wickett in Eversley are worth a visit.

Star & Anchor, Ealing

The Star & Anchor in Ealing, London was a new pub, replacing the previous cocktail bar, Baroque. A great venue on Ealing Broadway, an oasis on the busy main road. Claire chose the Roast Beef, which was plentiful and tasted great. I had the Roast Lamb, it was amazing. Large slices of meat. The homemade Yorkshire pudding was huge!

If you are in Ealing, you must go to The Star & Anchor for one of the Best Sunday Roasts in Ealing – you will not be disappointed.
