The Tiger’s Head had been a glaring omission from our Bromley reviews, so this had to be rectified. I booked a table for lunch for 4 people plus our baby JW (who’s 15 months old). The pub had recently been refurbished, and looked very good for it! It felt like a contemporary country dining venue, with light walls and exposed beams. The Sunday best lamb shoulder was very good, and the main roasts were reasonably priced. All in all, a recommended Sunday lunch at The Tiger’s Head in Chislehurst, Bromley.

We were looking for a country pub Sunday lunch near home and found The White Rock in Underriver which is near Sevenoaks, Kent. This was a great place for us to take our gluten and dairy free toddler for Sunday lunch. The whole meal was suitable, including yorkshire puddings, chocolate pudding and custard! An excellent place to go if you have food allergies.

As we were holidaying in Camber Sands, I just had to find somewhere to visit for Sunday lunch. After a bit of research, I decided on The Dunes Bar & Restaurant, which is situated just off the main beach. Nicely decorated inside, with a beach theme (including photo place mats). The staff were friendly enough, showing us to our table and also being helpful through the meal. Ours starters were a bit of a disappointment, but the Sunday lunch was actually quite nice – a huge serving and definitely great value for money. So, worth visiting if you are in the Camber Sands area.

Don’t let the outside of The Rose and Crown in Farnborough put you off, the venue inside was kept in good repair and nicely decorated. The facilities for children was excellent with clean changing areas and a large activity area in the garden. The huge Sunday lunch was good, especially the roast potatoes. A place to visit for families and people with large appetites!

I was looking for another Sunday lunch in the local area and decided on The Fox in Keston – it seemed to be a good place to go with my grandparents.
Upon arriving, we noticed the F1 on the TVs, and it being very crowded. This may have affected the service, as I found it to be very slow (and mistakes were made during the meal, such as the wrong food being brought out). Overall, we found the lunch to be quite nice, but was very much let down by the acoustics of the venue.
