We were visiting my Dad for Father’s Day and decided to try the Sunday lunch at The Rose and Crown in Pluckley, Kent (near Ashford). I am very glad we did! The food was delicious, the beef cooked to my (requested) liking, super roast potatoes and gravy. The outdoor space meant our child could run outside and burn off some energy. We were looking for a Sunday lunch in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. A friend suggested The Black Pig. The pub looked interesting so we thought we’d give it a go. Service was very good here, always on hand in case we needed anything. The starter was good, and the roast beef was excellent, as were the roast potatoes and vegetables. The passionfruit cheesecake was notably well presentated, and tasty too!
Definitely recommend visiting for Sunday lunch at The Black Pig in Royal Tunbridge Wells!

On a whim, I booked Sunday lunch at Kits Coty on Bluebell Hill, near Aylesford. And what a choice it was! The view from the restaurant was excellent. The food safety equally superb, with excellent roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding (best I have ever had). It’s family friendly too, with very clean high chairs and a children’s menu.

The Gun at Gun Hill is one of the Elite Pubs venues – we have visited most of the others, so I was looking forward to giving them a go, and we weren’t disappointed. The food was excellent, especially the crackling. They were very welcoming with our toddler and had some good menu options. We made full use of the garden too. A Top Rated venue, great for families as well as couples and celebrations
