Sunday lunch in Chislehurst seems to be becoming a habit. This time, we tried the roast at Foxes on the high street. The staff were very welcoming, greeting us as soon as we walked through the door. The cost for 3 courses was very reasonable, being £14.95. The free bread was excellent, Claire thoroughly enjoyed her soup and the dessert was quite nice. The actually roast was alright but the venue was very cold. Come here for the service though as this is really what gives Foxes a 4 out of 5…

The George, Hayes, Kent
One of the many things I enjoy about living close to family is that we can experience a great Sunday lunch together. Since The George in Hayes was my great-grandmother’s favourite pub, it is quite well known in my family. I hadn’t been for many years, so I was looking forward to trying them out. I wasn’t disappointed. The decoration inside the venue was dark, moody and sumptress. The service was excellent and the food very good. I can understand why my great-grandmother enjoyed it here so much!
