The 11 Century pub certainly had character, and I was pleased with the service initially, The roast potatoes were good, as were the vegetables. My Sticky Toffee Pudding was very sweet (a good thing), and certainly ensured I received the sugar hit I wanted. So, when I found out he has another in Hollingborne in Maidstone, we had to give it a shot. Sunday lunch here was superb, our roast very tasty (especially the potatoes). It was great that the kids roast was free, making the Sunday lunch really good value (3 courses for £19.95). The Windmill is definitely one for families to visit for Sunday lunch.
